Germany’s largest impact community, tbd*, comes offline at Berlin’s only career and skills summit for the social sector.
The persist* Summit has it all. It offers the opportunities of a career fair on the one hand and the personal development and networking elements of a conference on the other. Students, graduates, career changers, and those already working in the impact sector will gather to learn about mission-driven careers, build on their network of like-minded professionals, and gather the knowledge and expertise they need to find a new job or develop their career.
The persist* Summit consists of four main elements:
Chat with mission-driven organizations and educational programs to find a job or learn more about the possibilities in the field.
Some of our 30+ exhibitors include:
Amani Institute, Ärzte ohne Grenzen e.V., Chemonics International Inc., Climate-KIC GmbH, Deutsches Rotes Kreuz e.V. - Generalsekretariat, ESCP Europe Wirtschaftshochschule e.V., famPLUS GmbH, design Akademie Berlin - SRH Hochschule für Kommunikation und Design GmbH, Deutsche UNESCO-Kommission / Freiwilligendienst kulturweit, FRÖBEL Bildung und Erziehung gemeinnützige GmbH, Hertie School of Governance, HNE Eberswalde, Kiron Open Higher Education gGmbH, Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung e.V., Lemonaid Beverages GmbH, Leuphana Universität Lüneburg / MBA Sustainability Management, LOVE FOR LIFE, AMBOSS, On Purpose Berlin Careers GmbH, Plan International Deutschland e.V., SchulePLUS GmbH, veedu GmbH, Wortlaut UG, SWIM Bildung UG, SEEK Development Strategic and Organizational Consultants GmbH, SirPlus UG, Social Impact gGmbH, Start-Up Your Future: Gründerpatenschaften, SwitchUp.de, Teach First Deutschland gGmbH and Transparency International e.V.

Learn about what is currently happening in the German impact sector in terms of new projects and initiatives from a series of presentations happening every 20 minutes, in two rooms, throughout the day. You can dip in and out of what interests you most, whether that's Sustainability and Entrepreneurship, FinTech and Social Innovation or Feminism and Foreign Policy. Find an overview of all the speakers and their topics here.
We kept the main persist* ticket price low so that you can customize your experience to your interests by choosing the workshops that interest you most. For a small additional cost (25 EUR per workshop), you can dig deeper into specific areas of career development in the social impact sector, from learning about online tools for non-profits with Google to funding your dreams, in a small and personal setting. Get an overview of all the workshops and book your place here.
What else you should know:
Don’t feel like you have to come from start to finish– exhibitors will stay for the whole event, 20+ speakers are staggered to start every 20 minutes, and exciting activities will be happening the whole day. Just arrive for your workshop and stay for a couple hours to drop in for a few speaker events or chat and network. We want you to craft your schedule by picking and choosing based on your interests and needs to help you achieve your future goals.
We hope to see you there!
Most rooms are accessable with wheelchairs.
Unfortunately, two exhibitor rooms are not accessible (Hörsaal 3 & 4) as well as the workshop room D266 (where Google Zukunftswerkstatt & Gloabal Match e.V. will take place).
